Recruiting Events
The increasing demand for talent in cyber security has companies evaluate new strategies of recruiting and training. Good Capture The Flag events appeal to the motivated and well educated students, graduates and professionals.
Big technology companies, such as Google or Facebook, have identified the potential of these events for recruiting and invest massively in them.
Goals
The goals of our events are to enable you to:
- Find top talents in cyber security
- Increase the visibility of your company at your target audience
- Enhance the quality and quantity of applicants
- Create connections to students, young professionals, academia and experts
- Train and motivate your own employees at the same time
We achieve this with fun, yet challenging competitions with original task-sets and custom branding for your company.
Capture The Flag
Capture The Flag (CTF) events are a form of competition played among security professionals, and increasingly also amongst students. The rules are simple.

Focused Students working on a CTF
The organizers prepare IT systems with security vulnerabilities. The participants form teams and then have to hack into the systems and steal secrets, which they exchange for points.
Every submitted secret gives their team points. A scoreboard shows the current ranking of all teams.

Scoreboard during a CTF
Regarding the systems and vulnerabilities, there are no limits set to the imagination. Vulnerable web shop, attackable corporate network or nuclear power plant, everything is possible.
The CTF participants are presented with unique, challenging and fun tasks. Everybody has a good time. In the End the winning team (or the top three teams) usually receives a small price.
The motivation for the participants, however, is to learn something new and to have fun working on difficult problems in a nice atmosphere.
Hosting CTFs
Our group has its roots in the competitive CTF team RedRocket. We’ve been playing these competitions successfully for years. We qualified for finals in Las Vegas, London, Stockholm, Abu Dhabi and many more. Apart from increasing our cyber security skills, we also learned a lot about challenge design and what keeps people motivated.
After winning we switched sides and now create the challenges of the Cyber Security Rumble, which is one of the biggest CTFs in the world.
Our team is able to host CTFs in all scales. From world class international competition to local university or even school events.
